Within the body of Christ, and, more specifically, the Christian school movement, in all its glorious diversity, we have all the intellectual, financial, and spiritual resources necessary to transform the world for the Kingdom of God and transfer the wealth of our faith to the next generation. We either have it at hand, or we have access to it. Yet…

Human connection matters. The way God wired humanity is to long for and to find joy in these connections because they address a deeply spiritual need that all Christians innately share . . . to be with one another.

Most importantly, attending a major international conference for Christian leaders gives heads of school an opportunity to return to our main job of thinking about, envisioning, and preparing strategically for the future.

Putting student voice at the heart of our decision-making enables our young people to actively shape their own school experience, as well as the legacy of education they will leave to those who follow them. As leaders in education, we have the power, influence, and leverage to create the sorts of learning environments in which our students can thrive.

As we look forward with hope to a post-COVID world, we can all consider what lessons we don’t want to unlearn from 2020 (and into 2021).
